Hi, I’m Lisa Jackson
Founder of Utopia Travel by Design
I help busy professionals and lifelong learners explore the world through impeccably planned, customized itineraries - from private, land-only boutique escapes to luxury ocean or river cruises.
With extensive travel experience mainly across the Americas, Europe, Asia, I specialize in connecting discerning travelers to the true heritage, history, and heart of every destination. Some of my personal favorite journeys include navigating Costa Rica’s lush rainforests, taking in the serene cultural landscapes and terraced hills of Bali, and taking in the historic coastlines of Italy. And of course, we never overlook the extraordinary gems right here in the U.S., from coastal retreats and vibrant cultural capitals to world-class mountain sanctuaries.
Through our upgraded, state-of-the-art planning framework, I bring executive-level planning to your travel calendar. Every detail is mapped out in advance, giving you total clarity and confidence from the moment we begin planning until your return flight home.

Utopia Travel by Design was built from my passion for global education and a deep commitment to serving high-achieving individuals who value excellence and life-long learning.
Having managed demanding professional and personal schedules myself, I saw how easily travel planning could lead to decision fatigue and also become overwhelming. Hours spent comparing endless resorts and tour operators often resulted in generic itineraries that lacked depth and structure. I knew busy leaders would find value in having someone architect their blueprint for travel.
That is why we overhauled our entire design process and upgraded our technology. We deliver clear, structured, and timely travel plans, allowing you to step away from your busy schedule and simply focus on learning, connecting, and enjoying every moment of your journey.
